Nikon Coolpix S8100 Review:
When searching for a digicam to switch my personal outdated Canon SD870IS, I needed a digital camera which would work effectively in low light. I picked the Nikon Coolpix S8100. It required a lots of study amongst the 2, however ultimately I opted for the Nikon Coolpix S8100. I am so satisfied with my decision. Initially it is really an simple digicam to get from the box and use. It has two picture symbols, one for people who’re challenged when deciding on exactly what we are in fact looking at then one for people who can in fact separate people, children, dogs and cats, and scenery. The recording button is found around the right upper corner of the rear which is actually a great feature for immediate video recording. There are plenty of features offered to understand how to use and the guide book contains just about all. I was impressed by how good the pictures came up, with and with no flash. It definitely approved the lights test. The only real drawback to me is the flash is a pop-up on top of the left side exactly where I usually rest my fingers. I must learn how to hold my fingers off of the flash. I really like this camera.
Nikon Coolpix S8100 is slightly bigger and weightier compared to Canon 1200, 1300, 1400s, IS1100, . This Camera start-up is fairly rapid, anything under 3 secs from start-focus-take in lower light. Little shutter lag, identical or much better than many other great digitals camers I have bought. Focus is quick and correct. This can be a next generation digital camera so that it need to do all the things properly and yes it does. Weight of this digicam is a bit more but appears sound.Focusing: while I focus and attempt to zoom closer as opposed to the lens physically could get it will not focus.Low light photos: excellent. Low light video recording extremely good, there is however 1 setting in video recording the 1080 with no star in which the video recording looks dull. Do not know the reason why, set it up to the star 1080 and then leave it. No manual controls: I did not purchase this camera for that manual controls, I want to blow it out, take pics and videos, and yes it does that good. Pics and videos look excellent, much better than my other digital cameras. The recording focus may hunt a little bit whenever zooming, however, this particular digicam Will certainly zoom throughout video recording, not like some others. Low light video recording is nice however the more you zoom the less light you receive. Therefore, video recording performs great when comparing zoom range to light selection. Auto scene setting does not select the best scene indoors in low light, use Regular Auto in this particular scenario. Auto Scene works Okay so far in any other case. Flash is nice and pretty effective for any smaller unit, coverage mainly regarding right. You only need to hold it in a different way compared to many other digital cameras for the flash to pop-up on top left-side, single handed photos, no issue. Life of the battery, not as well as others cams, however it’s OK. Make use of the USB cable to charge battery of the digital camera, four hours OR, have an additional battery charger and battery for Nikon Coolpix S8100 and get it done in that way.
